If their Twitter feed is any indication thepeople behind Toronto film production company We Can Pretend are busy. "And, that's a wrap! Day one of the special project completed!," they tweeted on June 18th, and then followed on July 7th with a tweet about another finished project: "And that's a wrap! Getting ready for tomorrows shoot in Halton Hills. 2 days of 7 done!"

Truly creative film production companies are a dime a dozen, but We Can Pretend seems to have figured out the right formula for offering a unique perspective, without coming across as overbearing or overly hip. They've worked with YTV, non-profits, and even created a music video. Check out some of their work below.

Remember that Doritos competition a few months back where you'd win $100,000 to name a new Dortios flavour and then film an ad about it? Yeah, We Can Pretend won it all with this bad boy.

This is their spot for YTV. Warren Silverman, the unfortunate intern, is quite a character.

Finally, here is an amazing advertisement for that was a part of the YouTube Cannes Young Lions Ad Contest and was written, shot, and edited in under 48 hours.

These guys are talented, and not to mention funny. Check out their official website here.

If you, like We Can Pretend are young filmmakers looking for help with DVD replication/duplication or authoring in Ontario, Canada, come hang out with us at Firebrand and we'll figure it out for you.
